Support is provided according to each participant’s individual needs, preferences, NDIS funding and agreed support arrangements.
Short Term Accommodation (STA)
Need a short stay in a comfortable and supportive environment?

Our Point Cook home may offer Short Term Accommodation (STA) for eligible participants, subject to individual circumstances, funding and availability.

Whether you are looking for a short break, temporary support or a change in your usual environment, our team can discuss whether the available supports are suitable for your needs.

This may include participants transitioning from hospital or waiting for disability-related home modifications or another longer-term housing solution.

MTA is subject to NDIS eligibility, approved funding and availability.

Our team can work with you, your family, support coordinator and other authorised members of your support network to support a safe and planned transition.

Your Choice, Your Support
Choosing where you live and who provides your supports is an important decision.

We encourage participants and their representatives to ask questions, view the property and consider whether the home and available supports are suitable before making a decision.

There is no obligation to proceed after making an enquiry or viewing the property.

Our team will provide information about our services, availability and applicable costs so you can make an informed decision.

Important Information About SIL, STA and MTA
Supported Independent Living (SIL) refers to the supports provided to assist a participant with daily life in their home. SIL funding does not itself pay for the property, rent or ordinary day-to-day living expenses.

Access to SIL, Short Term Accommodation or Medium Term Accommodation depends on the participant’s individual circumstances, NDIS plan, applicable funding requirements and availability.

Australia Disability Services will discuss your circumstances and available supports with you before services commence.
